Entering the Japanese Market

The Winstone Group, is a Tokyo business tax firm based in Omotesando, Minami-Aoyama.
The firm is leveraging more than 12 years of experience in handling Japanese-international business and tax matters for major U.S. fashion houses, recording artists, authors, entrepreneurs, investors, musicians, and actors entering the Japanese market. The firm has launched an international business tax strategies initiative in Tokyo to provide integrated solutions for global clients doing deals involving international issues.

Incorporations
The firm has established approximately a hundred Japanese corporations on behalf of our non-Japanese clients. We primarily establish three types of legal entities for doing business in Japan.
a) Registration of Japanese Subsidiary of a Foreign Corporation (Branch office).
Services include registering the foreign corporation with the legal affairs office, the local ward office, and the tax office. In addition, the firm assists in setting up the corporate bank account and obtaining the corporate tax identification number.
b) Establishment of a limited liability company.
The firm files documents with the legal affairs office and tax office to ensure the entity complies with all national and local business requirements.
c) Establishment of a stock company.
